There is nothing like a good crisis – that way, you can find out who’s loyal. From the depths of my soul, I appreciate all of the loyal friends and family that have stood by my daughter and our family during this time. Your support has been relentless and unwavering – I sincerely thank you all.
Now then, after 33 long days of rolling tears and renewed faith, Ericka got released from the hospital today at 2:05 pm. The Big Man is finally taking his daughter home. Can I get a “thank you Lord?”

Being a very private person, I never envisioned having to bring this family crisis into a public forum but circumstances forced my hand on this one. I’m glad that I was able to express my thoughts as a father in real-time, galvanize our community of friends, and encapsulate this chapter of our life. This, however, will be my last blog. I really do appreciate you following!
